How It Works

The Filter Minder® Heavy Duty Pressure Sensor monitors vacuum and/or pressure on filter systems or virtually anywhere vacuum or pressure needs to be monitored. It provides a progressive output from .5 to 4.5 volts full scale. It is an absolute sensor and  measures vacuum and/or pressure from .5 to 300 psia (3.4 to 2068 kPa).

Applications include fuel pressure, oil pressure, air pressure, water pressure, gaseous pressure and others.

How It Works

The Filter Minder® Low Pressure Sensor continuously monitors vacuum in the air induction system, reporting air filter restriction.  As vacuum or air filter restriction increases, the sensor gives a comparable voltage output range of 0.5 to 4.5 volts full scale. Air filter capacity used and remaining air filter service life can be determined throughout the entire life of the filter.
