Invented in 1977, Filter Minder® pioneered the market for filter monitoring products. Engineered Products Co. gained early support from OEMs and their Tier One suppliers that appreciated the durability and accuracy of Filter Minder® products in demanding under-the-hood environments. Capitalizing on its prime mover advantage and the success of its initial products, EPC subsequently introduced a full line of indicators, gauges, switches and sensors. Owing to the depth of its engineering talent, the company has received fifteen patents, with three additional patent applications pending.
In August 2015, Donaldson Company, Inc. acquired 100 percent of the shares of Engineered Products Company.
