Our Environmental Policy:  Filter Minder® utilizes environmentally-friendly assembly processes, and designs new products that avoid processes that may create environmental concerns.

We continue to seek ways to reduce the use of energy and the creation of waste in our processes, and to recycle or reuse materials used in all areas of our business.

Filter Minder® is committed to full compliance of legal and other environmental requirements, including monitoring and reporting requirements.

Our environmental team reviews all current and potential issues in meeting this policy. We conduct regular audits to document this review, to ensure the effectiveness of the EMS and to promote continual improvement.

Does horsepower decrease as air filter restriction increases?

Horsepower

 

Dynamometer testing of horsepower at various filter restrictions has shown that horsepower remains constant as air filter restriction increases up to the maximum level of filter restriction recommended by engine and vehicle manufacturers.

Engine horsepower can decrease when air filter restriction exceeds the engine or vehicle manufacturer's recommendations.
